A very british flower market

It all begins with an idea. My idea has been brewing for a while as a florist myself, Wild Willow Flowers I yearned to use more british flowers in my work. But with a young child & school runs my time was limited to source my flowers from each of the local growers, so I turned to the wonderful dutch to send my flowers to me each week. The locally grown flowers are so special. You will not find these flowers in a supermarket. They smell wonderful & they last because they have just been picked

the concept is simple we run a monthly flower market where the local growers fill their vans with buckets of flowers all picked just the night before. they arrive and set up their buckets with a mix of foliages & flowers, seedlings & bulbs and everyone trundles along with their buckets and spend a few hours delving into buckets choosing their stems ready to take home to arrange
