The Homegrown Market at Water Lane

First Market

Thursday 11th June 9am-10am Early Pickings

10am-1pm General Pickings

Water Lane is an historic walled garden, dating back to its productive heyday in the Edwardian era. The one-and-three-quarter-acre site includes the original glasshouses and a cutting garden with over 70 beds.

Alongside the Melon House a new border, created in collaboration with multiple RHS Chelsea Gold Medal award-winning designer Jo Thompson, is a prominent and bountiful feature, while on the periphery are espaliered fruit trees.

The market will take place within the walled garden next to Water Lane’s very own cutting field. The flowers will be cut just days before the market, the freshest in the market!
